As President and Chief Operating Officer of Eyexora, she drives strategic growth and operational excellence across the organization.
She has a proven history of building and operationalizing high-performing teams for product launches, lifecycle management, and market expansion. Her experience spans both mature markets—such as launching first-in-class therapies for glaucoma—and emerging areas requiring market development, including geographic atrophy.
Welyn’s experience covers the full spectrum of eye care, from anterior to posterior segment, and from therapeutics to biologics. She has held leadership roles at ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Bausch + Lomb, Aerie Pharmaceuticals, and Iveric, consistently delivering impact across diverse and complex product portfolios.
She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Health Economics and Outcomes Research at the University of Washington, Seattle.
